ACAA Athletes of the Week: Madesen Allen, Zach Comber, and Ella Myers

Madesen Allen came in first in the women's six-kilometer race at the 2024 ACAA Cross Country Championships in Brookvale, PEI. She crossed the line with a time of 23:56.3, earning the title of 2024-25 Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Year and a spot on the ACAA All-Conference team.

 

Zachary Comber, Dalhousie Rams

Varsity Sport: Men's Cross Country

Hometown: Kingston, ON

Zach has continued to dominate the ACAA men’s cross country circuit this season posting a time of 26:43 at the ACAA championships to claim 1 st place. In doing so, he also improved upon his first race time of 28:12 by 1 minute and 29 seconds in just 4 weeks!

Ella Myers, UNB Reds

Academic Program: BSc Kinesiology

Year: 3

Varsity Sport: Women's Rugby

Hometown: Fredericton, NB

Ella received an All-Conference award for the 2024 season as well as Player of the Game for the championship game where she scored two tries to help UNB capture the 2024 ACAA banner.
