Mystics win Fourth Straight with win over visiting Crandall Chargers

The Mount Myystics and Crandall Chargers played three quarters to a draw at 54-54, but it was the Mystics final 10 minutes that made the different in the outcome. Outscoring the Chargers 19-12 down the stretch helped the Mystics secure a second quality win over the weekend and move a couple steps closer to locking the second spot a top the ACAA with a record of 10-2. The Chargers fall to 8-5 one game off third place. Both teams shot over 40% of their field goals from behind the arc with the Chargers shooting a better percentage but the overall field goal percentage favoured the Mystics along with a sligt edge on the boards which both helped secure the win.   

Final score MSVU 73  CRANDALL 66. Liam Mitchell and Drew Jacklin led the Mystics in offense with 16 points each and Tariq Thomas had 15 points. Kendal Brown had 10 points for the Chargers and Robert Pillow had 16.
