Hurricanes score early and often in rout of Chargers

The Holland College Hurricanes jumped out to a lead of 31-17 after the first quarter and wouldn't look back taking a half time lead of 61-37 and a 94-48 lead after 3. 

The Hurricanes shot 21/42 from 3 point range in the win to propel them to the blowout victory over a short staffed Crandall Chargers.

Chicken Whyley led all scorers with 29 points along with 10 rebounds with Martin Campbell adding 12 points and 11 assists while Travis Adams came off the bench with 20 points and 10 rebounds. 

Mehmed Harjrovic led the Chargers with 24 points and 14 rebounds with Daniel Maxwell adding 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. 

The 'Canes move to 14-0 on the season while the Chargers drop to 8-6.
