MSVU Mystics beat UNBSJ Seawolves in Saturday's ACAA action in Halifax.
It was a hard-fought, physical game from the first whistle. Malcom Pitman opened up the scoring for MSVU Mystics in the 25th minute. Then Logan O'Connell scored in the 37th minute to make it 2-0 for the Mystics. To end the half, Griffin Cassidy scored for the UNBSJ Seawolves to make it 2-1. Both teams came out strong in the second half. MSVU's Logan O'Connell scored his second goal in the 57th minute to make the score 3-1. Then UNBSJ's Tosin Abe scored in the 86th minute to bring the score to 3-2 for MSVU.
Both teams are back on the turf again tomorrow in Halifax.
