The Tommies won 3-1 against Sainte-Anne on Saturday night. After a convincing 25-7 win in the first set, STU saw the Dragons bounce back with a 25-21 win in the second game. The defending champs retrieved their composure and clinched the last two sets en route top another win.
Nicolas Levesque offered a strong performance with 11 kills and 2 service aces. His teammate Stephane Blinn added 8 kills. For the Dragons, Gabriel Jacques recorded 8 kills while his brother Anthony tallied 6 and Mario Larade 7. Libero Marc-Alexandre Lagacy had a strong defensive match with 14 digs. The two teams face off again tomorrow at 12pm.
