Seawolves Earn First Win of Season in 5 Set Thriller Over Tommies

Saint John, NB - The University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves topped the St. Thomas University Tommies 3-2 (23-25, 25-19, 25-21, 19-25, 15-12). 

The Tommies were led on offence by 2nd year outside hitter, Austin Hamilton, who finished the match with a game high 13.5 points, while rookie Brenton Romanchuk had 11 points on 9 kills. The Seawolves countered with a well balanced offence, with four different athletes finsihing with 8 kills; Ethan Tucker, Thomas Blizzard, Finlay Kearney-Staunton, and Noah Palmer. Seawolves' setter, Liam McLellan, distrubted the offence well, finishing with a game high 36 assists. 

The Seawolves move to 1-7 on the year, while the Tommies fall to 5-3. These two teams will be back in action against each other at noon on Sunday.
