Canes Shutout Tommies

The Holland Hurricanes didn't allow any excuse to wander in their mindset as they played host to STU Tommies on Tuesday.

Both teams coming off previous matches on Sunday making a quick 48-hour turnaround for this rescheduled match (Sept 25) in lieu of Hurricane Fiona.

The Hurricanes came out quick and scored often shutting out the Tommies at half by a score of 34-0.   The Canes' dominating play continued into the second half scoring additional 15 points to secure the shutout victory.

Hurricanes Tori Hogan led all Canes players with 5 tries 3 conversions and 1 penalty goal for a total of 36 points.

With the win, the Cane's record improves to 3 and 3 on the season while the Tommies drop to 1-5.

Both teams will be back in action on Sunday to end the regular season play as the Hurricanes play host to UKC Kings (2 PM) and the Tommies will host UNB (2 PM).
