The UNBSJ Seawolves hosted the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics in ACAA women's soccer action Sunday at the Canada Games Stadium in Saint John.
The teams played in pouring rain and heavy winds for most of the game. The Seawolves struck first when Karlee Duval scored 12 minutes into the game. MSVU tried to push the action for the rest of the game but the Seawolves held firm on the back line and Makayla Martin scored at 90 minutes to seal a 2-0 win.
The Seawolves improved to 6-4-0 while the Mystics check in at 7-2-2.
The Seawolves travel to Holland College for a date with the Hurricanes Saturday, Oct. 23 at 1:00pm. The Mystics host the UKC Blue Devils Oct. 23 at 1:00pm.
