ACAA women’s volleyball

The UNB Saint John Seawolves and University of Sainte Anne Dragons met in an ACAA women's volleyball Saturday, January 20 at the G. Forbes Elliot Athletics Centre.

The Seawolves defeated the Dragons in three straight sets 25-14, 25-15, 25-10. It took most of the first set for the Seawolves to get going but they found their game and everyone got touches on the way to the victory.

Dayna Alexander had 10 kills and 8 digs to the lead the Seawolves attack. Jenna DeGooyer had 7 kills and 6 digs while Madison Harris ended with 9 digs and Maria Cummings contributed 24 assists.

Marise Gionet had 4 kills and 7 digs for the for the Dragons. Jaya Anand also had 7 digs. 

The Seawolves raised their record to 9-4 while the Dragons dropped to 0-12.

The Seawolves play the University of King's College Sunday, January 21 while the Dragons travel for a match with St. Thomas.
