In a big ACAA match up, the Holland Hurricanes hosted the Crandall Chargers at the MacMillan Center for Community Engagement.
The Hurricanes came out storming in the first quarter and opened up a commanding 32-15 lead. The Canes were hot from behind the ark going 5 of 6.
Bryce Corless had a nice dunk after a Michael Surur steal and dish.
The Chargers weren't going to go away that easily and outscored the Hurricanes by 15 in the second quarter to make it a two point ball game, 45-43 Hurricanes at halftime.
Hurricanes Coach Kendrick rallied the troops during the halftime talk and they responded opening up 15 point lead by the end of the quarter.
The home team then cruised through the fourth quarter finishing the game 96-75.
Aaron Simmons had the hot hand for the Hurricanes, dropping 33 points, 60% (6-10)from 3point
Bryce Corless two assists shy of a triple double 10pts, 10rebs, 8 assists and 4 steals.
Marc Hofer was the top scorer for the Charges with 19.
These two teams are back at it tomorrow in Charlottetown.
