The third ranked UNBSJ Seawolves came to Bible Hill today and met a defensively minded RAMS squad. The host Rams welcomed the Wolves, with a high spirited attack which quickly met an equally spirted defence. As the game went on, it was clear that this game would turn into a defensive bout as each team was unrelenting in their own halves and neither could muster a steady attack. Competitive spirits rose through both teams until the 79th minute of the game when RAMS' own Calum MacLeod, assisted by Ben Lauther sank the ball into the back of the UNBSJ net. The Rams defended their 1-0 lead until the clock ran out ending the game with an unexpected but much needed win for the RAMS Squad.
The RAMS now head into a bit of a rest period having just finished 4 games in 7 days. Their next match is against MSVU at home on the 21st. The Seawolves head into a short week with their next game being the 18th against the number 2 ranked Tommies squad.
