MONCTON, NB - The Crandall Chargers dropped hard-fought game 3-2 to the visiting Mount St. Vincent Mystics on Saturday.
Aiden Whelan opened the scoring early in the first half to give the Mystics the 1-0 lead. Ibrahima Diane scored late in the half to draw the Chargers even going into halftime. Nick Bryden converted a penatly kick to put the Mystics back in front, but Diane followed again shortly after to tie the game at 2 apiece. Whelan sealed the victory for the Mystics with a goal in the 85th minute.
Crandall will be back in action as they host Kings College on Sunday at the Moncton High School Field. Mount St. Vincent returns to action on Thursday as they face Kings College.
