MONCTON, NB - The Crandall Chargers fell to the league-leading St. Thomas Tommies 2-0 in ACAA action on Saturday, October 19.
After a scoreless first half, Adam Loewen opened the scoring for the Tommies with a penalty kick in the 49th minute. The Tommies defense stifled the Chargers all game, only allowing 5 shots on goal for the match. Josh Kuehl added an insurance goal in the 85th minute to seal the win. St. Thomas now heads to the playoffs next weekend in Moncton as the top seed.
Crandall plays again on Sunday, October 20 at Moncton High School when they will take on the UNB Saint John Seawolves.
