MONCTON, NB - The Crandall Chargers dropped their home opener to the visitng Holland College Hurricanes, 4-0 in heavy rain on Saturday.
Hayden Chaisson opened the scoring for the Hurricanes at the 23 minute mark of the first half. The game remained close until Karissa George increased the Hurricanes lead with goals in the 66th and 78th minute to extend the lead. Kristyn Taylor closed out the scoring with a goal in the 85th minute.
Crandall will be back in action as they host the Dalhousie Agricultural Rams on Wednesday, Sept. 11 before heading on the road for weekend games with Mount St. Vincent and University of Kings College.
