The RAMS squad earned their first win of the season against the Tommies. Strong play by the Tommies resulted in a early lead. Steeves and Hancock from the Tommies both scored in the first 10 minutes but goals from Alexander kept the RAMs alive at the half. Glover roared to life for the RAMS in the second half with an early score to equalize but the RAMS and Tommies traded scores until Setterington scored a timely penalty kick to bring the score to an equal 4-4. A tie was not in the books as Glover score an absolute sniper shot from almost half field that gave the RAMS their first lead of the match and the game winner.
The Tommies head to the Island next to take on the Hurricanes at 1pm tomorrow while the RAMS host UNBSJ next and hope to turn their win into a streak.
