Female Athlete of the Week, November 2, 2022

Athlete Name: Tallulah MacNeil                                  

School: Mount Allison University

Academic Program: Bachelor of Science

Varsity Sport: Women’s Cross Country               

Hometown: Halifax, Nova Scotia

It was an incredible season for Mount Allison Cross Country runner Tallulah MacNeil. The Halifax native dominated the field, winning three out of the four ACAA Women’s Cross Country events this year, including a gold medal at the ACAA Championships hosted by Crandall University this past weekend in Moncton, New Brunswick.

MacNeil, a rookie with the Mounties Cross Country program, is the embodiment of excellence in both academics and athletics. MacNeil has balanced life as a student athlete extremely well this year, as she pursues her studies in Mount Allison’s Bachelor of Science, Major in Biochemistry program.

Her athletic results below speak for themselves – she was a force all year winning every event she participated in.

DAL AC Meet #1 – 1st place, with a time of 24:49.3

MSVU Meet #2 – 1st place, with a time of 25:53.2

Holland Meet #3 – Did not race
