Chris Cheatham helped lead the Holland College Hurricanes to the 2023 ACAA Men’s Basketball title on the weekend in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Cheatham registered nine points, two rebounds, an assist, and a steal in the ‘Canes’ 90-74 semi-final win against Crandall University. The 5th year senior upped his game in the championship game versus St. Thomas University, piling up six points, five assists, three rebounds, and two steals, leading the Hurricanes to a 97-78 win.
“He was an absolute catalyst defensively for us and hit a number of big shots in both games,” shared head coach, Tim Kendrick.
The Hurricanes will now travel to Calgary, Alberta for the 2023 CCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship, March 16-19.
