Athlete Name: Amanda Pearcey

School: Mount Saint Vincent University

Varsity Sport: Women’s Basketball

Hometown: Torbay, NL

Third-year guard Amanda Pearcey led the Mystics to two road wins over the weekend, averaging 18.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, four assists and two steals in the effort.

She scored a game-high 18 points and had five rebounds, five assists and a block in the Mystics 88-59 win over the UNBSJ Seawolves Saturday afternoon in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Amanda was hot again the next day with another 19 points, plus three assists, two rebounds and two steals to lead the Mystics to an 88-64 victory over the host St. Thomas Tommies in Fredericton.

A native of Torbay, Newfoundland, Amanda is currently ranked third in the conference with an average of 15.7 points per game.
