Women’s Player of the Year
Crandall University’s Amanda Piltzmaker took home the 2022 ACAA Women’s Soccer Player of the Year award. Piltzmaker led the ACAA in scoring with 11 goals in 12 games. The fifth-year senior burst onto the ACAA scene in her first season with the Chargers after 3 seasons of Atlantic University Sport experience with the Mount Allison University Mounties.
Women’s Rookie of the Year
The 2022 ACAA Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Year was awarded to Jayci Peck, a striker for the St. Thomas University Tommies. Peck led the Tommies in scoring with 6 goals, finishing in the top 10 of league scoring. Peck helped to lead the Tommies in qualifying for the ACAA playoffs.
Women’s Coach of the Year
P.J. Ward took home the 2022 ACAA Women’s Soccer Coach of the Year honours after an impressive season with the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves. The Seawolves lost just once this season, finishing in second place with a 7-1-4 record. Ward’s sturdy defensive tactics led the Seawolves to an ACAA postseason appearance.
