Mystics Too Much For Chargers, Take it 87-56

MONCTON, NB -  The MSVU Mystics came into Moncton on Sunday afternoon to spoil the Chargers' final home game of the semester running away with the game 87-65.

 

Crandall found their rhythm from beyond the arc shooting 37.5%, led by Kassidy Hamilton who recorded 5 buckets adding to her total 21 points. Kylee Balser went 4-5 from beyond the arc for a total of 18 points.

 

In the paint, Alexa Rancourt went 5-11 with a pair of free throws for 12 total points while also high-pointing 15 total rebounds. With another double-double today, Rancourt has her 5th of the season.

 

Alisha McNeil led the Mystics with 22 points, going 8-18 from the field and connecting on both free throw attempts.  Amanda Pearcey was just behind her teammate recording a personal season-high 19 points.

 

Crandall will look to end the first half of the season on a high note this coming Friday as the team will be on the road to face off against the STU Tommies. The last time the two teams met Stu came out victorious 58-47.
