MONCTON, NB - The University of King's College Blue Devils come out victorious 1-0 over the Crandall Chargers at Harrison Trimble Field.
Starting only 9 players due to suspensions UKC went on an all out offensive strategy, shooting a staggering 36 shots of which 17 were placed on goal. The Chargers would bend but not break on defense led by Goalkeeper Noah Miller with 16 saves and having to deal with a whopping 18 corner kicks by UKC.
Lucas Zuffo and Jacob Agbor both had their opportunities to score for the Chargers, especially early in the game as the duo repeatedly found their way behind the defenders. Zuffo led the team with three shots on net of five taken.
Crandall will need to make any adjustments quickly as they are set to host the 0-3-2 MSVU Mystics Sunday afternoon.
