MONCTON, NB - The University of King's College Blue Devils take care of the Crandall Chargers 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.
It had been ten days since the Chargers last played and fresh legs were not enough for them to overcome the high powered offense of the Blue Devils. UKC were in control the whole match, with an unprecedented 31 shots, 23 of which made it on net.
Chargers Goalkeeper, Maya Clapperton had no rest in the match, coming up with 17 saves and contending with seven corner kicks.
After being named the ACAA Athlete of the Week, Amanda Piltzmaker appeared to be priority number one for UKC. The Blue Devils had the Forward bracketed in a double team any time she had the ball. The Chargers only maged to put a single shot on net which Rebecca Florean was able to save to keep a clean sheet.
The Chargers have a quick turn around as they host the undefeated MSVU Mystics tomorrow afternoon, kickoff at 1PM.
