Rams Upset Chargers 2-0.

MONCTON, NB -  In a tense back and forth game under the lights the visiting Dalhousie Rams upset the Chargers 2-0.

Both teams were controlling the ball well in the first half with Crandall pushing up the lines and the Rams driving up the middle. Each team had their opportunities but the tie would hold until the 81st minute when Alex Cornell opened up the scoring for the Rams. Cornell would go on and tack on the insurance goal just three minutes later.

It was the second start in a row for rookie Goalkeeper, Tim Leaman. The Rams kept Leaman busy all night peppering him with eight shots on goal, of which he saved six and ten corner kicks to contend with. Off the line, Leaman showcased his acrobatics, including an outreached tip to push a shot just over the crossbar.

Rams Goalkeeper, Calum Macleod stopped all seven shots he faced, his first shut-out of the year and the team's first win.

The Chargers were set to host the Holland Hurricanes this Saturday but due to the incoming storm the game will have to be rescheduled. No make up date has been set at this time.
