The Mystics outscored the Tommies in the second quarter by 13 points and scored 59 points in the first half to go into the breat with a 15 point lead. The second half the Mystics struggled to put the Tommies away and they mounted a small comeback in the third and overcame a 10 point deficit and took the lead by 1 late in the game, but with 27 seconds left to play Adam Callaghan drained a clutch 3 which allowed the Mystics to take the lead back. The Tommies called a timeout, advanced the ball and scored quickly on a basleine drive that gave the lead back to the visiting team. The Mystics did not call a time out and inbounded the ball quickly and pushed it down the floor and they drew a foul sending Ty Murnaghan to the line where his missed the first and sank the second with 2.8 seconds left. The Tommies got a shot off but missed and the Mystics survived the push with a 98-97 win. The Mystics are off to Crandall University on the 27th to play the host Chargers at 5pm. The Tommies head accross the city to play teh UKC Blue Devils.
