Two top ranked teams in the CCAA went head to head Thursday night in Charlottetown. The #8 ranked Hurricanes and the #12 ranked Chargers battled on the court.
After an electrifying first quarter which saw the Chargers take control of the game until the 'Canes answered with a good run to end the quarter. Crandall led 26-20 after one quarter.
Holland put their stamp on the game in the second quarter outscoring the opposition 33-15, to take a 53-41 lead at halftime.
The Canes continued their strong run in the third to lead 85-61 heading into the fourth quarter.
Final score 110-86 for the Hurricanes.
Crandalls top scorer was Gabriel Cormier with 20 points. Brett Curtis went 5-8 from downtown and finished with 18 points.
Three Hurricanes shared the brunt of the scoring with 21 points each, Marcellus Taliaferro, Jalen Menzies & Kyree Thompson.
Holland are on the road Sunday January 15 at UNBSJ.
Crandall play UKC January 21st at home.
