The St. Thomas Tommies fell 76-68 to the Crandall University Chargers in ACAA men's basketball action Saturday afternoon in Fredericton. 

Thomarcus Nix led the Chargers with 19 points, eight rebounds, and two steals, while Jacob Eatmon led the Tommies in the loss with 17 points, two assists, and one steal. 

The Tommies put together a solid first half, but were trailing the Chargers 44-33 at the break. The Chargers held the Tommies to just eight points in the third quarter, but an offensive run at the beginning of the fourth brought the Tommies within ten with 3:34 to play. Despite outscoring the Chargers 27-15 in the final frame, the Tommies couldn't close the gap.
