The St. Thomas Tommies downed the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus Rams 78-62 in ACAA men's basketball action Saturday afternoon at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym. 

Jeremy Speller and Mitch Claybourn each had 12 points for the Tommies in the win, while Ben Cripps added 11. 

The Rams were led by Neel Amin, who connected for 33 points and hauled in eight rebounds. 

The Tommies stormed out to an early 23-6 first-quarter lead, and continued their strong play in the second en route to a 43-16 half time advantage. 

The Rams rallied in the second half and outscored the Tommies 28-13 in the fourth, but couldn't complete the comeback.
