The St. Thomas Tommies topped the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves 70-58 in ACAA men's basketball action Saturday afternoon in Fredericton. 

Dylan Gallant led the Tommies with 18 points, four assists, and two steals. Mitch Claybourn added 14 points and seven rebounds. 

The Seawolves were led by Matthew Brown, who connected for 15 points and six rebounds. 

It was a tight first quarter, but the Seawolves outscored the Tommies 15-9 in the second en route to a 33-29 half time lead. 

The Tommies came out firing after the break, scoring 29 points in the third for a comfortable 11-point lead heading into the fourth.

The Seawolves matched the Tommies in the final frame, but couldn't close the gap. 

With the win the Tommies finish the regular season with a record of 6-15, while the Seawolves end with a 7-14 record.
