The Rams came out flying against the Mounties and had a 25-10 lead after the first quarter.  Roles reversed in the second when the Mounties took control .  The third quarter was the most hotly contested as the tempo was high along with tempers.  The Mounties were hot in the 4th and pulled ahead before the Rams secured the tie to end the game.  Overtime was mostly Mounties as the Rams were in foul trouble with three starters leaving the game. The win for the Mounties (102-86) was an excellent basketball show for the spectators and viewers of the Bell TV1 webcast.  Leading the Mounties was LeGallais with 30 pts and and 7 steals and Sanford with 20 pts and 7 rebounds . The Rams top scorers were Broussard with 26 and Grouse with 24, and  Gares had an outstanding game scoring 10 points , taking 3 charges and being a force on the boards .  The Rams are playing their best of the season and hope to continue improving  heading into playoffs.

The next game for the Rams is Sat Feb 10 when the Tommies are in town for a 4 pm start.
