Mystics explode in middle two quarters for win

The Mystics rolled to another home victory in convincing fashion with a 109-71 win at home vs the Holland Hurricanes. Strong middle quarters and lethal shooting from behind the arc helped the mystics win their fourth straight and stay undeafeated in ACAA play. The Mystics shot 50% from the field, 42% from the 3 and 83% from the foul line.  A season team high 24 assists to go along with winning the battle of the boards 41-31 allowed the Mystics to spread the lead out to a game high 41 points. The Mystics bench and transition points were also major factors in the outcoem. The mystics bench scored 32 points and in trancition they outscored Holland by 16.

The Holland Hurricanes were led by Ambrose Johnson with 16 while Diangelo Woodside added 12 point snad 7 rebiunds. The Mystics were led by Sam Gillett's sharp shooting as he went 6 for 10 fromt he three point to lead all scorers with 22. Jaydan had 14 points and 6 assists along with 3 steals.

 

The Mystics play next Friday night against their cross town rivals UKC Blue Devils at 8pm while the Hurricanes stay ont he road and place the Blue Devels tomorrow with a game time of 4:30.
