Seawolves test Mystics

Seawolves test Mystics

The UNBSJ Seawolves came into the game rested and looking to steal a game against the host Mystics, who played late Friday night and were faced with a tough back to back weekend. After playing a tight first quater a strong second quarter by the Mystics opend up a 15 point lead going into the half. However the tides changed and the Seawolves had several key runs, including long distance shooting coupled by the lack of the Mystics making anything from the field and the Mystics lead was cut to just 4 going into the final 10 minutes. The fourth quarter was basically trading baskets with neither team taking over the game and the lead at the end of the third was the same spread that decisded the game. The Mystics shot 32 free throws to only 10 by the Seawolves and that had a large factor in deciding the game. The Mystics remain undefeated with strong play by Adam Callaghan, Issac Matheson and Chase Tynes while the Seawolves were led by Ethan Szemerda's 20 points, followed by Jack Fury-Miller's 16points and 9 rebounds.

The Mystics next game will be on the road to face the Holland Hurricanes on Saturday the 25th
