The first part of the Mystics vs Rams match-up was scoreless with play mainly in centre of the field. When shots were taken by both teams, the keepers were coming up with excellent saves.  The Mystics broke the scoreless first half at the 45th min, when Nick MacDonald scored the first of two. 

Tom Wilding put the second on the board for the Mystics early in the second half (56th min) and MacDonald secured the game with his second at the 70th minute.

The Mystics peppered the Rams keeper with 16 shots on goal , while the Rams managed only 5 shots on goal.  The Mystics also had the edge on corners 5-2.
