The Holland Hurricanes took control of the play right from the opening whistle and peppered the Rams Keeper with 17 shots in the first half. Rookie Keeper Bailey Fraser made spectacular saves (12 saves in the first half) to limit the Canes to four goals . The Rams played tougher in the second , with the rookies adjusting to the fast and physical play. Fraser continued to show lots of great work facing 12 shots , limiting the Canes to only 2 additional goals. Having difficulty mounting a sustained attack, the Rams 5 shots and 4 corners for the contest were not enough to get on the scoreboard. Keeper Lund had the shut-out for the Canes.
