The first game of the season between the UNB Saint John Seawolves and the UKC Blue Devils was a thriller. The game went back and forth as the Blue Devils tried to hold off the Seawolves. The Blue Devils took a 3-1 with under 10 minutes remaining on a penalty shot goal by James Whiteman but Alex Allison scored the final two goals to tie the game at 3-3. Allison finished with three goals on the day.

The Seawolves meet the MSVU Mystics on Sunday while UKC travels to St. Thomas to play the Tommies
