The UNB Saint John Seawolves and the Crandall University Chargers met in ACAA men's soccer action at the Canada Games Stadium Wednesday night. The game was tied 0-0 at the half. The Chargers opened the scoring when Abdul Neil broke through the defense and calmly sent a shot along the ground into the lower left side of the net. The Seawolves never really threatened and Crandall added an insurance marker late in the game off the foot of Joshua Bokma. The Chargers outshot the Seawolves 8-5 in the game.
Crandall improved to 3-2-1 on the season while the Seawolves are now 1-3-2. The teams play a rematch at Crandall Saturday, September 30th at 1:00 PM.
