The UNB Saint John Seawolves hosted the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics in ACAA soccer action Sunday at the Canada Games Stadium.
Mystics keeper Kevin Abraham was busy and good as he made 13 saves on the day. The Mystics held the lead on a goal by Maxwell Hoar at the close of the first half. The lead held up until Jesse Asante of the Seawolves headed one by Abraham off a corner kick in the 76th minute to tie the score. The goal gave the Seawolves momentum but the Mystics stood their ground and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Seawolves now have a record of 2-1-1 while the Mystics sit at 1-2-1
The Mystics host the Dalhousie Agricutural Campus Rams Wednesday, September 25th at 7:00 PM. The Seawolves next see action when they host the St. Thomas Univeristy Tommies at 7:00 PM Friday, September 27th.
