Charges Fall to Seawolves

MONCTON, NB - The Crandall University men's soccer team dropped Saturday afternoons' match against University of New Brunswick Saint John (UNBSJ) 3-1.

The first half of the match was a well fought battle by both teams with the lone goal scored by Seawolves Griffin Cassidy in the 9th minute. UNBSJ padded their lead with goals in the 64th and 90th minute by Stefan Jonsson and Oluwatsoin Abe, respectively.

New Goalkeeper for Crandall, Noah Miller, was unable to get the win in his debut but had a total of 13 saves on the day.

The Chargers were issued a total of three cards over the course of the match with Brayden Sheen, Christian Sheen and Cody Bleakney each receiving one.

Moving forward, the Chargers will look to get their first win of the season on Thursday as they head to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island to face Holland College.
