Tegan Misener set the tone just 4 minutes into the game with a quick goal to put the Hurricanes on the score board. Mohammad Ali repeated just 15 minutes later for the Canes.  Misener scored once again just before halftime, in the 44th minute of play.  The Chargers battled hard in the second half, with a short bench allowing only 1 goal in the 71st minute from Hurricanes Gustavo Guerrero.  

Keegan MacKinnon recorded the shutout for the Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes will visit the MSVU Mystics Saturday and the UKC Blue Devils Sunday to try to defend their 5-0-1 record.
