ACAA men’s soccer

The UNBSJ Seawolves hosted the Crandall University Chargers in ACAA men's soccer action Tuesday at the Canada Games Stadium in Saint John.

Griffin Cassidy scored 5 minutes into the game to give the Seawolves a quick 1-0 advantage. The Seawolves pressed for more with several good scoring chances and Nick Ellingwood broke through for back to back goals near the end of the first half to give the Seawolves a 3-0 lead. The Seawolves peppered Crandall keeper Noah Miller who made several spectacular saves to stifle the Seawolves in the second half and keep the final result at 3-0.

The Seawolves improved to 4-3-1 while the Chargers dropped to 0-8-0.

The Seawolves host University of King's College Blue Devils October 16 at 4:15pm while the Chargers host Holland College at 3:15pm.
