It was a tightly contested battle between the host 'Canes and the visiting Tommies as the game remained scoreless until the 2nd half - the Tommies had opportunity early in the first half as they were awarded a penalty shot but it was denied by Canes keeper Keegan MacKinnon.  Brett Springer scored the first goal for the Tommies in the 54th minute of play.  Chidubem Nkoloagau solidified the Tommies win with a 2nd goal in the 88th minute of play.  Luke Ewen recorded the shut-out for the Tommies.

The 'Canes finish the season with a record of 10-1-1 and head to Halifax on October 30th to defend their ACAA title (2019).
