It was a hard fought battle between the MSVU Mystics and Holland Hurricanes at Mainland Commons, in Halifax. 

Both teams played great football and created chances on goal in the first half. Mo Alhaj Ali scores early in the first half for the Hurricanes making it 1-0. Then another goal by Ali makes it 2-0, midway through the first half. MSVU missed few chances on goal in the first half.

The Mystics and Hurricanes come out strong in the second half battling end to end. MSVU changed their style of play and raised the tempo of the game and created more chances on goal. In the 70th minute, Ali scores his third of the game for the Hurricanes, making it 3-0. Logan O'Connell scores in the 85th minute for the Mystics, making it 3-1.

The MSVU Mystics play at home on Wednesday, September 21st against the UKC Blue Devils at 6pm.
