The UNB Saint John Seawolves played the University of Sainte Anne Dragons Sunday in ACAA men's volleyball.
The Seawolves started off well, winning a close first set 25-22. They kept the pressure on the Dragons through the second set taking it 25-14 and closed out the match with a tidy 25-17 win in the third set.
Luke O'Grady was on fire for the Seawolves, hammering home a match-high 12 kills to go along with 4 digs. Patrick Kendall had 23 assists and 3 service aces, Zane Hamilton added 5 kills and Jacob McLean had 6 digs to round out the Seawolves offense.
Anthony Jacques and Marc-Antoine Doucet each had 3 kills for the Dragons. Alex Arsenault had 8 assists and 4 digs.
The Seawolves have one big match left against the first place Holland College Hurricanes February 17 at 5:00 PM in Charlottetown. The Dragons are now finished until the playoffs which are being hosted by St. Thomas University February 23-25.
