The Holland Hurricanes men's volleyball team swept the Universite Sainte-Anne Dragons 3-0 in the ACAA semi-finals Saturday night at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym.
Set scores were 25-12, 25-23, and 25-10.
The Hurricanes were led by Jeff MacDonald, whose seven kills—and no attack errors—contributed to a seamless sweep against the Dragons.
The Dragons struggled throughout the match and received a lot of calls for rotation errors, but persisted against a tough Hurricanes squad.
Anthony Jacques paced the Dragons with 16 kills and three digs, while Alex Arsenault boasted 27 assists.
The Hurricanes advance to the ACAA final Sunday at 3:30 pm, where they will face the winner of the second semi-final between St. Thomas University Tommies and UNBSJ Seawolves.
