The UNBSJ Seawolves rode the cheers of the home crowd to a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Holland College Hurricanes. The match went back and forth as the teams took turns applying the pressure and powering home kills. 

The Seawolves got on the board winning the first set 25-21.The Hurricanes bounced back to take the next two sets 25-17, 25-18 and appeared headed to a four set victory before the Seawolves stormed back to win the fourth set 25-19. They completed the comeback taking the fifth set 15-10.

Ryan Farrell led the Seawolves with 13 kills, 3 aces and 7 digs. Garrett Windlle added 11 kills and Ben Wilson contributed 35 assists. Nick Blewett had 11 kills, 4 aces and 5 digs. Brandon Hastings had 30 assists and Gordon Veitch finished with 9 kills and 12 digs.

UNBSJ stands at 2-1 while the Hurricanes are 1-3. The teams play the second game of the weekend double-header Sunday at 12:00 PM.
