The STU Tommies defeated the Holland Hurricanes 3-2 Saturday evening in Charlottetown to open the 2022-23 ACAA men's volleyball season. 

The Tommies and Hurricanes were expected to be evenly matched this season, and the opening contest certainly didn't disappoint. 

Set scores were 25-14, 22-25, 27-29, 25-18 and 15-8. 

 

Adam MacDougall had 15 kills for the Tommies, while Cameron Calhoun had 20 kills for the Hurricanes, followed by Luke Hyde's 16 kills.
