The Host Hurricanes took on the visiting UNBSJ Seawolves Saturday.
It was a close fought match with the first set going to the Hurricanes with a score of 25-23.
The Seawolves had the early advantage in the 2nd set, however the Hurricanes managed to rally and take the 2nd set 25-23 to go up 2-0 heading into the 3rd.
A strong showing from the Hurricanes in the 3rd would give them the set and match win with a score of 25-15.
The Hurricanes offence was led by Luke Hyde with 13 kills and 2 service aces. Cameron Calhoun and Chris Basilio got their share of the action, with 9 kills and 1 service aces for Calhoun and 7 kills for Basilio.
The Seawolves had a stong offensive showing with 9 kills each for Austin Kendall and Finlay Kearney Respectively aswell as 7 kills each for Thomas Blizzard and Cameron Willis.
The Hurricanes improve to 3-3 on the season while the Seawolves fall to 0-5. The two teams will meet again on November 27th at 2:00PM.
