CHURCH POINT, N.S.: The Universite Sainte-Anne Dragons hosted UNBSJ Seawolves for the last of 3 consecutive weekend games and won 3-1 on Sunday morning at the Marcel.-R.-Comeau gym in Church Point.  

The Dragons took the 1st set 27-25 as the Seawolves competed well. UNBSJ played with a purpose and won the 2nd set 25-18. Sainte-Anne returned to their league leading form and took over the match by winning sets 3 & 4: 25-14 & 25-10.  

The Seawolves were lead by Thomas Blizzard with 12 kills, Liam McLellan with 26 assists and Noah Palmer with 8 digs. For the Dragons, Alec Cottreau lead the way with 13 kills, Joshua Aucoin added 41 assists and Louis-Philippe LeBlanc added 16 digs.

Sainte-Anne improves to 11-3 and 22 points and 1st place overall in the ACAA Men's Volleyball Division while UNBSJ drops to 1-13 and 4th place in the division. The Dragons travel to Holland College on Saturday February 11, 2023 for a 5 PM match for their last regular season game, while the Seawolves host STU Tommies on Friday February 10, 2023 at 8 PM.

Holland and STU have 1 game that was postponed on Saturday February 4th left on the schedule. The playoff picture becomes clearer now, and the ACAA Men's Volleyball Semi-Final (Best of 3 Games) Schedule will be announced shortly.

POINTE-de-l'EGLISE, N.-E. : Les Dragons de l'Université Sainte-Anne ont accueilli les Seawolves de UNBSJ pour le dernier de 3 matchs consécutifs de fin de semaine et ont gagné 3-1 dimanche matin au gymnase Marcel.-R.-Comeau à Pointe-de-l'Eglise.

Les Dragons ont pris la 1ère manche 27-25 alors que les Seawolves ont bien joué. UNBSJ s'est rallié et a gagné la 2ème manche 25-18. Sainte-Anne est revenue à sa forme de meneur de la ligue et a pris le contrôle du match en remportant les manches 3 et 4 : 25-14 et 25-10.

Les Seawolves ont été menés par Thomas Blizzard avec 12 attaques, Liam McLellan avec 26 passes et Noah Palmer avec 8 récupérations. Pour les Dragons, Alec Cottreau a mené avec 13 attaques, Joshua Aucoin a ajouté 41 passes et Louis-Philippe LeBlanc 16 récupérations.

Les Dragons se rendent chez Holland College le samedi 11 février 2023 pour un match à 17 heures pour leur dernier match de la saison régulière, tandis que les Seawolves accueillent les Tommies de STU le vendredi 10 février 2023 à 20 heures.

Holland et STU ont encore un match reporté le samedi 4 février au calendrier. L'image des séries éliminatoires devient plus claire maintenant, et le calendrier des demi-finales de volley-ball masculin de l'AASC (2 hors de 3 matchs) sera annoncé sous peu.
