CHURCH POINT, NS: On Saturday February 18th 2023 in Church Point, the Dragons defeated UNBSJ 3-0 at the Marcel-R.-Comeau gymnasium to win the ACAA Men's Volleyball Semi-Final 2-0.
Sainte-Anne won all three sets 25-17, 25-18 and 25-12. The Seawolves took an early lead in the 1st set and came out on fire, but the Dragons regained their composure and defeated UNBSJ to win the 2nd consecutive match and the series.
For the Dragons, Jeremy Bourque lead the offense with 12 kills, Joshua Aucoin added 31 assists and Vincent Doucet contributed 9 digs. For the Seawolves, Thomas Blizzard lead with 5 kills along with Cameron Willis and Noah Palmer with 4 kills each, Liam McLellan added 15 assists and Jonathan Fraser-Monroe lead with 6 digs.
The Dragons will host Holland College Hurricanes next weekend, with all 3 games to be played at Universite Sainte-Anne in Church Point as they finished First Overall during the Regular Season and have home court advantage. Holland defeated STU Tommies 2-0 and had finished 2nd Overall in the league standings.

POINTE-de-l'EGLISE, N.-E. : Le samedi 18 février 2023 à Pointe-de-l'Eglise, les Dragons ont battu UNBSJ 3-0 au gymnase Marcel-R.-Comeau pour remporter la demi-finale de volleyball masculin de l'AASC.
Sainte-Anne a remporté les trois manches 25-17, 25-18 et 25-12. Les Seawolves ont pris une avance dans la 1ere manche et sont sortis avec beaucoup d'énergie, mais les Dragons ont repris leur calme et ont battu UNBSJ pour gagner le 2e match consécutif et la série.

Les Dragons accueilleront les Hurricanes de Holland College la fin de semaine prochaine. Les trois matchs seront joués à l'Université Sainte-Anne, car les Dragons ont terminé en tête de la saison régulière et ont l'avantage des matchs a domicile. Holland a battu les Tommies de STU 2-0 et a terminé 2e au classement général de la ligue.
