The St. Thomas Tommies fell 65-52 to the Mount Allison Mounties in ACAA women's basketball action Sunday afternoon in Fredericton.

After coming out to a 14-10 first quarter lead, the Tommies struggled in the second and managed a mere seven points.  The Mounties held a 29-21 lead at half time.

The Mounties opened the second half with an 8-0 run and, despite a strong push, the Tommies couldn't close the gap.

Rookie post Nikki LeBlanc led the Tommies with 14 points and seven rebounds, while Sarah McGeachy and Maddyson MacDonald each connected for 13 points for the Mounties in the win.
