Mystics win battle of the Mounts

In a very competitive, entertaining and hard fought game it was the MSVU Mount Mystics that came out on top over Mount Allison Mounties 93-86. After last weekends lackluster performance vs St. Thomas the Mystics bounced back to get back into the win column ith a solid team effort over a very good Mounties team. The Mystics played without their starting point guard, Gwen Ettinger-O'Leary however first year backup Amanada Pearcey stepped up and played floor general in her first start of her career. The Mystics had a blanced attack on offense with double didgit points by 5 players. Leading the way was Alisha Mcneil with 1, Kelsey Crocker with 17, and off the bench with 16 was Katherine Khorovets. Tahlia jones flirted with a triple double, 13 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. The Mounties, Reece Nowlan had a huge game with 33 point and was 6-11 from the 3 point line. Torrie Janes had 14 points and Abbey Miller had 13 and 8 rebounds. The Mystics next action is at home on November 19th vs cross town rivals University of King's College while Mount Allison stay in Halifax and play UKC tomorrow.
